Welcome To Sandy Neck Beach Park OnLine
Welcome to Sandy Neck Beach Park. Thousands of years have allowed this barrier beach to develop into 4,700 acres of dunes, maritime forests, and marshes. It is a living museum, exhibiting dynamic landscapes rich with ecological activity and recreational opportunities.
Each year hundreds of visitors are attracted to Sandy Neck to soak up the sunshine, swim, and beach comb as they witness the power of the ocean. While extremely satisfying, these activities represent a fraction of the possibilities for any visitor seeking to enjoy a quality outdoor experience.

Update
The front beach is open from Access Trail to East of Trail 2 (2.0 miles). Due to the presence of nesting shorebirds, we will not be able to open the beach past 2.0 miles until further notice.

We are expecting big tides this weekend so please plan accordingly.

The daytripper only parking area is located approximately between Trail 1 and Trail 2. It is clearly marked on the beach (see Parking Plan to the right of this message).

Fat tire mountain bike information is available under "beach status" below this message.

Please remember to watch the tides!

5MPH on the beach for safety please.
