Welcome to Sandy Neck Beach Park. Thousands of years have allowed this barrier beach to develop into 4,700 acres of dunes, maritime forests, and marshes. It is a living museum, exhibiting dynamic landscapes rich with ecological activity and recreational opportunities.

ORV BEACH STATUS DEER HUNT
The Sandy Neck primitive weapon deer hunt is Monday December 11th through Saturday December 16th. The closure line is just past Trail 2. No vehicles or horses allowed past the closure line for the duration of the hunt. Hikers are encouraged to walk the front beach during this time.


Please stay on marked trails when walking at Sandy Neck. There is a $50 fine for anyone caught walking in the dunes!

ORV beach is open to Trail 6.
Trail 4 shellfish beds are closed from 9/15/17 to 12/15/2017.

Speed limit on the ORV corridor is 15mph
