The Treasury Division provides oversight for the investment policies, cash management, debt management and collection of real estate liens. This division is also responsible for producing the town payroll, wage reporting for town and school, processing payroll deductions and payroll tax deposits. The Treasury also oversees the issuance and disbursement of all vendor checks.
The Collector is responsible for the billing and collection of Real Estate, Personal Property tax bills, Motor Vehicle and Boat excise tax bills, Sewer Usage and charges for Road, Water, Sewer and Septic Betterments.
The Treasurer/Collector's office interacts with all School and Town Departments in an effort to provide excellent customer service to our employees, taxpayers, citizens and the general public.
