The Hyannis Youth & Community Center needs the support of local businesses and individuals.  Amy has over 20 years of experience in facility management and public event marketing. As marketing director for First Night Boston, the Paul Tsongas Arena in Lowell and the Centrum in Worcester she was responsible for selling advertising space and sponsorships; marketing and publicity for major public gatherings; and working with agencies, businesses and non-profit groups to create unique programs and successful events. She most recently assisted the Town of Brewster’s Recreation Department. Amy brings her knowledge and skills to her new position as the HYCC’s marketing manager, offering individualized creative input for design, implementation and measurable results for all the businesses, user groups and organizations that support the facility. Amy is responsible for all aspects of marketing and advertising sales including naming rights at the HYCC as well as searching out new sources of revenue to accomplish the goal of the Town’s newest enterprise account to maintain sustainability of the operating budget for the building and pay back the bond which was issued by the Town for construction. Amy lives with her family in Brewster and her twin sons skate for Barnstable Youth Hockey Association."

SATURDAY MARCH 13 -- 7pm-10pm TEEN DANCE PARTY IN THE HYCC GYM
Kids 13-18 years old come and have fun with DJ Todd! Special performances by Encyclonary and the Ninjas. Plus show off your stuff during an Open Mic Contest! Sing, Rap, Dance(bring your own music). Tickets are available at the door. $7 before 8pm and $10 after 8pm.

THU-SUN MARCH 18-21 -- LOBSTER POT HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
Dozens of youth hockey teams from all over New England will play games all weekend long! Live music, good food and fun!

Ninety-five boys and girls youth basketball teams representing 34 towns from CT, RI & MA will play in the Gymnasium. Great food, merchandise and fun for all!

SATURDAY MARCH 27 -- CAPE & ISLANDS HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY ALL-STAR GAME
GAME TIME: 6:00PM ADMISSION: $5 Players from high school teams on the Cape and Islands will play each other and show their stuff for consideration as IJHL teams, including our own IJHL Champs the Cape Cod Cubs, develop their roster for next season!


FRIDAY APR 9 - SUNDAY APR 11 -- NORTH EAST COLLEGIATE VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
WEEKEND ALL-GAME PASS: Adults $15/ Students & Seniors $6 DAY PASS: Adults $6/ Students & Seniors $3 Sixteen men's collegiate volleyball teams will play 15 matches for the championship title and an automatic bid to the invitational championship held at Carthage College in Wisconsin.


SUNDAY, APR. 18 -- 11:00AM FIELD TRIP - BRYANT U. WOMEN'S LACROSSE GAME
Fee: $20 (max 12 girls) This day trip is for high school girls interested in seeing a Div. I women's lacrosse game at Bryant University in Smithfield RI. Fee includes game ticket, transportation and staff member. Van leaves HYCC at 11AM; Game Time: 1PM; Van will return at 5PM.
