Are you and active voter?



If you didn't answer your census, or moved, you stand the possibility of being an inactive voter. That means, before you can vote you will have to show id and fill out a form at the polling place. This can take time. So to avoid that - please check out the Town Clerk's search screen for inactive voters. If your name is on it - please contact the Clerk's office and give them your residential and mailing address and they will change your status to active.
This will be a busy election season so we are trying to avoid as many problems at the polls as possible.
