Recreation Programs

The Recreation Division runs a number of programs during the year, including Art Programs, Athletic Programs, Vacation & Summer Leisure Programs and Programs for members of the population with Special Needs. All of our programs are designed for the enjoyment of participants with the emphasis falling on instruction, teamwork and healthy self regard. We do not place primary emphasis on competition. Our programs, historically offered exclusively for Barnstable Resident Taxpayers, are now open to non-residents FOLLOWING a “Resident Only” enrollment period, contingent upon availability. Additional costs are associated with registrations for non-residents in our programs.
