Recycling
Requirements
A recent Town Council Ordinance requires Barnstable residents to
recycle waste materials whenever possible effective January 1,
2002.
Residents are encouraged to bring their recyclable materials to
the Solid Waste Transfer Station in Marstons Mills or arrange to
have their privately contracted trash hauler collect their
recyclables.
Materials such as glass, metal, newspapers, cardboard, plastic
may be recycled at no charge at the Transfer Station Recycling
