The Licensing Authority is responsible for balancing the needs of the community with the needs of license applicants. The Licensing Authority holds regular public meetings to hear requests for new and amended licenses and considers impact on neighborhoods, public safety, public order, and compliance with state and local regulations in their decision process.
A DOR Certificate of Good Standing will expedite approval if filed with
any new or transfer alcohol application, or any change requested on an
alcohol license. Where an alcohol license existed on the premises before
your purchase/rental - that certificate should be provided by the prior
