62005 – 12-01-01 Principal Division Assistant, Consumer Affairs:
Bookkeeping and
recordkeeping work in support of the parking and weights-and-measures
function of the Division; required to provide customer service in all
areas of the Consumer Affairs Division including licensing and
non-criminal programs; all other related work as required. High school
diploma with courses in office procedures, accounting, business and
computers; Associates Degree in business administration or related field
preferred; three years experience in the use of computer applications;
or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Working
knowledge of office procedures and machines. Familiarity with town
government. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with the general
public and town departments. Ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with multiple
telephone and walk-up interruptions. Ability to work on multiple
assignments and prioritize work. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to
exercise independent decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively
both orally and in writing. Proficiency in the use of computers
including database and spreadsheet data entry and word processing.
Familiarity with the MUNIS system preferred. Good organizational and
communication skills. Good math skills. $693.55 weekly + benefits

12-02-01 – 64104 Seasonal Gate Supervisor (Sandy Neck), Marine &
Environmental Affairs:
Seeks an individual who will deal with site safety and proper coverage
of site, and who will conduct financial oversight and personnel
supervision of seasonal staff, implement policies imposed by the MEA
division, and manage specific tasks conducted by fee collection
personnel. Community CPR and First Aid and supervisory experience
required. May be subjected to extremes of weather. REQUIRED TO WORK
ALL WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT TERM OF EMPLOYMENT.
$13.25 hourly, no benefits.
12-02-04 - 81083 - HYCC Temporary Custodian,
Community Services: Semi skilled manual work involving
responsibility for the cleaning of the Hyannis Youth and Community
Center. Polishes and cleans furniture, washrooms, floors and metal
work; vacuums rugs; washes woodwork and windows; collects and disposes
of refuse; shovels snow; moves and sets up furniture. May perform
additional general maintenance activities such as painting. Experience
in building cleaning, painting or general upkeep; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience. Ability to perform moderately
physical labor. $11.00 hourly, no benefits
